Laurie N. Robinson Haden

Founder, President, and CEO

Laurie Robinson Haden is a nationally recognized business executive, legal strategist, and thought leader driving innovation at the intersection of law, leadership, and technology. She is the Founder, President, and CEO of Corporate Counsel Women of Color® (CCWC), an organization she launched in 2004 to connect and empower high-achieving attorneys across Fortune 500 companies, law firms, and government agencies. Under her leadership, CCWC® has grown into a premier platform for executive development, legal education, strategic networking, and business development. 

Laurie previously served in multiple leadership roles over an 18-year career at CBS Corporation (now Paramount+), including as Senior Vice President and Assistant General Counsel of Litigation, where she led high-stakes legal matters and advised senior executives on risk, business impact, and litigation strategy.  

In July 2025, she earned a certificate in Artificial Intelligence Strategies for Business Innovation from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management, underscoring her commitment to staying ahead of emerging technologies shaping the business and legal landscapes. She has led the launch of CCWC®’s Law + AI Annual Summit, as well as programs that help attorneys strengthen their business fluency and leadership acumen, such as the MBA for Lawyers Initiative and the CLO Symposium. 

Laurie is the author of It’s Time to Shine: A Guide for Professionals on How to Advance Their Career, a practical playbook for career elevation and executive readiness. Her influence extends beyond the legal field—she co-founded Parents Supporting Excellence in Education, a nonprofit organization focused on partnering with schools in Prince George’s County, Maryland, to support academic achievement and access to resources. 

She serves on the Board of Visitors for both the Indiana University Maurer School of Law and North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she also served as chair from 2022 to 2023. She is a past member of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund Board of Directors and currently sits on the Compensation Committee of the National Sales Network. 

Laurie earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from North Carolina Central University and her Juris Doctor from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
